IsoKinder ("we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of children, parents, and educators who use our website and screening services. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we handle it. It is written to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).
Information we collect
From parents booking a screening: parent/guardian name, email address and phone number; the child's name, date of birth, gender (optional), preferred screening language, school (optional), and any notes you choose to share; your chosen appointment slot; and payment confirmation details (transaction reference and amount). We do not store your card, UPI or bank details — payments are processed by our payment partner.
From schools requesting a demo: school name, contact person, role, city, email, phone and message.
Screening data: the responses your child gives during the game and the resulting report.
Website usage: we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. This collects anonymised usage data such as pages visited and device type.
How we use it
- To schedule and deliver the screening and send you the confirmation and report
- To contact you about your booking, including rescheduling
- To connect you, with your consent, to assessment centres if the report flags a concern
- To respond to demo requests and enquiries
- To improve the reliability and validity of the screening tool, using anonymised data
- To comply with legal and accounting obligations
Children's data
We only collect a child's information with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, given when you book. Screening responses are analysed to produce the report and are otherwise stored in de-identified form for research and tool improvement. We do not use children's data for advertising or profiling, and we never sell it.
Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Our payment partner (Razorpay) to process your payment
- Our email provider (Resend) to send confirmations and reports
- Our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure), where our website and database run
- Assessment centres, only if you ask us to make a referral
- Authorities, where required by law
Retention
Booking and report records are retained for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations (typically up to 7 years for financial records). You may ask us to delete your child's identifiable data at any time; we will do so unless we are required by law to keep it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to team members who need it to deliver the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we will inform you promptly if a breach affecting your data occurs.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@isokinder.com. We will respond within 30 days.
